Hi all - i'm new here - what a great site! ... i've just ordered a Dr Cook for my mare Maddie - she is an 11year old 17hh shire x irish draft ...i've had her for 5 weeks .. people at my yard think i'm mad even considering putting a mare as big and strong as her in a Dr Cook .. and i think they're mad running round a 15 acre field trying to catch a horse they've owned for 8 years.... it take all sorts to make a world dosn't it !!! !!!
for more info you can look at http://www.bitlessbridle.co.uk ..there are also bitless bridle instructors on this site who can help /and /or advise you too .. i contacted one called Pat Voisey from Derbyshire - she is amazing and so helpful .. i've not only found a brilliant source of info for everything 'natural' i've actually made a lovely new friend too..
i've also just bought a fabulous treeless saddle, the Euinelibrium 'Hackabout' saddle from Louise at http://www.equinewhispers.co.uk .. they also do the 'Be Kind' bitless bridle which is similar i beleive to the Dr Cook ..
the service i've had from both sites has been marvellous -- i would thoroughly reccomend them to anyone ..
keep keeping it natural
